CET Power is a leading operator in the captive/embedded power industry in Nigeria. It provides power to organizations with both mid-layered and industrial-scale operations requiring power either for short-term (EPP) or long-term (IPP), on an outsourced basis.
Our Power Plants are operated by a highly professional technical crew as a result of which CET Power is able to generate and supply optimal power solutions to Clients on an uninterrupted, round-the-clock (24/7) basis. Typically, CET Power owns, commissions, operates and maintains these power stations, thereby relieving clients of significant capital investments in assets that are non-core to their business.
CET Power prides itself on its unparalleled ability to deploy power plants rapidly, utilizing any mix of fuel technologies. In this respect, the Company always has up to 20MW of gas and diesel power generation equipment available in equipment yards located across Nigeria (Ikeja, Abuja and Calabar) for immediate deployment.
Our total generation capacity as at today is in excess of 200MW. In addition to this capacity, CET Power also has a pipeline of orders, where we have been issued letters of intent to generate a further 150MW of capacity.
Group executives and management officers within CETPower possess pioneering experience and capabilities in the on-grid Power space. This has been demonstrated in CET Power’s track record (then known as Renatech International Ltd); having partnered with Geometric Power to deliver 22MW to PHCN in Nigeria’s first on-grid wholly indigenous IPP, back in the year 2000.
Our emerging activity the on-grid power generation space is demonstrated by participation to acquire two NIPP assets (Omotosho & Gbaran Power Plants), in the recently concluded NIPP privatisation exercise. CET Power’s total bid, for these two assets, was in excess of USD $700m.
We are making extensive progress towards establishing our network base across the African Sub-saharan regions aimed at an overall significant impact in the continent’s electricity requirements. As part of this strategy, we are currently providing Power to the largest company in the Country, Sierra Rutile Ltd, with further references to serve further markets in that county as well the Gambia, Cameroun and Ghana
